Lent Event takes place in the lead up to Easter, from 22nd Feb – 7 April 2012. Participants are encouraged to forgo an item from their daily lifestyle and donate the money saved so that others are able to live a life of dignity: clean water, nutritious food, elementary education, viable employment and essential healthcare.
For 40 days you, might be reducing carbon, technology use, coffee, alcohol or you might be walking 5 kilometers each day for water. Use your imagination.
As a participant, create your page and share the details of your actions so others can contribute to reducing world poverty.
